Amazon $50 Gift Card for Testing Images

Project summary:

Provide two authentic, short video clips showcasing genuine emotional expressions for use in a new video product, including two static headshots. We will use these videos and images to do some testing on some new imaging technology we are building. We will not use your video or image in any public way and will not build any AI models from your images. You will maintain all rights and ownership of those images.

Estimated time to complete: 5-10 minutes

Compensation: $50 Amazon gift card (only for U S Residents)

Details on video and images: You will record two short videos (between 30 seconds to 1-minute) of just you speaking directly into a camera.

1. One video should be recorded from a desktop or laptop and one from a mobile phone (in vertical mode).
2. There is no specific script. We just need you to record a message like you might record for a friend, a co- worker, etc. The videos should maintain a natural and authentic tone, capturing true emotional expressions as observed in a typical Zoom conversation.
3. Ideally, you are providing a range of emotions, but not excessive (e.g. use the natural range of emotions you’d use when on a video conferencing call).
4. You will also provide two photos: one non-professional, front-facing photo (like the kind you might use in a business profile picture) and also one professional front-facing headshot (if you don’t have a professional headshot, a second non-professional headshot is fine).
5. Please record your video facing the camera directly (not at an angle), in decent lighting, and without any overly aggressive head or body movements.
6. Your headshots should be front-facing (not side or angled) portrait shots, with decent resolution (at least 512×512, or 1MB in size or larger). Also they need to be distinct from your video (e.g. don’t just take a picture in the same environment/hair/clothes/etc. as your video responses).

How to submit the video and images:

1. The videos are submitted by recording and submitting a video through this link.
2. You can send your two images directly to support@emovid.com. In that email please include details on your machine and mobile phone configuration (what kind of devices and operating systems).
3. Once we have verified your videos and photos, we will send the gift card to the email you have provided.

Terms and conditions:

Your videos and headshot will be used exclusively for testing purposes. The data collected from this will remain confidential and will not be republished, distributed, or used publicly without your explicit written permission. Should we wish to use any portion of your submissions for public-facing materials (e.g., marketing), we will seek your explicit written consent before doing so. All data collected, including your videos and headshot, will be stored securely and accessed only by our product and development teams. Your identity will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent. By submitting your videos and images you acknowledge that you understand the purpose of this project, the use of your assets, and your rights as a testing contributor.
